About Reba

Where service, creativity, and lived experience meet.

I am a Technical Implementation Consultant, author, customer experience professional, photographer, and mental health advocate based in Arlington, Texas. My professional work is rooted in clarity, follow-through, and helping people navigate complex moments with confidence.

After more than a decade in customer support and more than six years in SaaS education technology, I am stepping into technical implementation while continuing the creative and advocacy work that gives my life its deeper vocabulary.

Whether I am supporting a customer, writing a page, advocating for mental health resources, or photographing the light across a Mustang hood, I return to the same belief: people deserve to feel supported and seen.

Defining Light in Dark Places

Poems, photographs, journal entries, fragments, and reflections

In Defining Light in Dark Places, I bring together poetry, prose, photographs, memories, and reflection to explore survival, family complexity, faith, mental health, silence, and the long work of reclaiming a voice.

This is a book of witness and light: not because darkness did not exist, but because it did not get the final word.

Work and purpose

The threads I carry forward.

Technology, story, advocacy, and images are not separate lives. They are different ways of making space for clarity, dignity, and connection.

Implementation & CX

EdTech experience, technical troubleshooting, escalations, process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-centered delivery.

Writing & Authorship

Memoir, poetry, journal fragments, and reflective prose shaped into work that tells the truth carefully and leaves light behind.

Defining Light Photo

Photography rooted in noticing: automotive art, portraits, pets, meaningful moments, and the stories light reveals.

Mental health advocacy

Advocacy is part of how I serve.

I have led workplace mental well-being efforts, supported NAMIWalks fundraising and community connection, and pursued QPR training because compassionate communication matters in every part of life and work.

For me, mental health advocacy is practical hope: listening without judgment, reducing stigma, and helping people find support before silence becomes heavier than they can carry.

“Helping people feel supported and seen.”
The principle behind my professional work, writing, photography, and advocacy.
